How it works
The objective of the spikers is to spike using shadow strike or barbed signet followed by vampiric gaze. The 2 spiritspammers (the Rit and the ranger) keep spamming spirits, whenever they made 2 of the same kind one dies. The necros get unlimited energy this way because of their soul reaping.
If the necros aren't spiking they should keep each other alive. The 2 healing hands necros and the WoP (well of power) necro are the main scource of healing. The 2 mark of protection necros chain aegis (while under qz)
Blood spike is so popular becauses it has a lot of holding power while having a effective spike. Healing hands and mark of protection should keep the hero alive.
The spike's should follow each other faster then a infuse monk could infuse because of energy issuses.
When against a good infsuer fake spikes are a good tool. The caller will call \"Fake spike on target in 3.2.1\" and everyody casts Lifebane Strike or Shadow Strike but without following up with Vampiric Gaze. The caller will then (very) fast call a new target, do a countdown and everyone will do a full spike. Why? The infuser will have used his infuse (losing half his life) and will often be unable to infuse enough to rescue the target. Its also a good idea to spike the infuser after a fake spike.

2)aftercast vampiric gaze spike: 6*65 life stealing: 390 dmg
total: 858 dmg
With 2 Necros shutted down at spike: (wich happens a lot of time)
1)Shadow strike spike: 3 strikes deal 104 dmg, 1 deals 52 dmg= 362 dmg
2)aftercast vampiric gaze spike: 4*65=260 dmg
total: 622 dmg
Counters
Counters:
-A monk with infuse health can easely infuse a few spikes. If he's supported with enough e-mangement skills he should be able to handle the spikes.
-Interrupts: A decent interrupt mesmer or ranger can easely interrupt a necros shadow strike/vampiric gaze. If enough necros get interrupted the spike fails. Blackout, diversion and guilt/shame have a similar effect.
-Damage: The necros have only 60 AL, leaving them weak for melee or elemental damage. Keep in mind that they can't heal while spiking.
-Spirits spammer: without them, the necros will lose their energy rather quickly.
